Z71
The Colorado Z71 comes standard with 18” wheels and 32” all-terrain tires. It also adds LED headlamps, taillamps, and fog lamps. Interior upgrades include a Jet Black interior with Adrenaline Red accents.
ZR2
The Colorado ZR2 is the top-tier off-road performance model. With 17” wheels and 33” tires, 3-inch factory installed lift and Multimatic DSSV dampers, the ZR2 is ready for just about anything on or off-road.

Every 2026 Colorado is powered by a 2.7L TurboMax® engine, which delivers 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque as standard. That gives the Colorado a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 lbs when properly equipped. An 8-speed automatic transmission helps manage shifts smoothly, whether you’re towing, off-roading, or cruising around town.
Depending on trim, Colorado offers selectable drive modes (Normal, Off-Road, Tow/Haul, Terrain) that help optimize traction, throttle mapping, and braking behavior. In the ZR2 model, you’ll also find a Baja mode tailored for sandy or loose surfaces.
Technology
The 2026 Colorado features modern connectivity and convenience technology. The centerpiece is an 11.3-inch diagonal touch screen, which includes Google built-in, and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Available features include wireless phone charging, multiple camera views (up to 10), underbody cameras, and an integrated Trailering app to assist with hook up, diagnostics, and trailer functions. The practical StowFlex® tailgate is available on LT and up, along with mid-position positioning for added utility.
