IS THE 2025 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER A GOOD SUV?

The new Chevy Trailblazer has received high marks from critics and owners alike. As a compact SUV, it brings a lot to the table. But, when shopping for a new SUV for sale, it is important to do research. That way, you know you are getting the correct vehicle for your specific needs. At Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Kansas City, we can help with that.

Today, we are comparing the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer to two of its most popular competitors.

2025 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER VS. 2025 KIA SELTOS

EXTERIOR

The Trailblazer has a more rugged and aggressive look with a dominant grille, angular headlights, and sculpted panels, while the Seltos has a more refined and sleek design.

INTERIOR

Both offer spacious seating for five, but the Trailblazer has slightly more rear legroom and cargo space.

PERFORMANCE

The Trailblazer's 1.2L turbo engine produces more torque (162 lb-ft) compared to the Seltos' 2.0L engine (132 lb-ft), giving it a more energetic and effortless driving experience.

TECHNOLOGY

The Trailblazer comes standard with a larger 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, while the Seltos has an 8-inch screen and wired connectivity.

SAFETY

Both offer similar driver assistance features, but the Trailblazer has the added benefit of a Teen Driver mode to help monitor and set limits for young drivers.

Both the Kia and the Chevy come with their own unique benefits. But when it comes to a Trailblazer and Sletos comparison, the Trailblazer might be the winner.

2025 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER VS. 2025 MAZDA CX-30

PERFORMANCE

The Mazda CX-30 has a more powerful and efficient engine, with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine or a 2.5-liter Dynamic Pressure Turbo engine, producing up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. In contrast, the Chevrolet Trailblazer uses turbocharged 3-cylinder engines with up to 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.

FUEL ECONOMY

The Chevy Trailblazer and Mazda CX-30 achieves similar fuel efficiency, with an EPA-estimated 26/33/29 mpg city/highway/combined for the CX-30, compared to the Trailblazer's 26/29/27 mpg.

CARGO AND PASSENGER SPACE

The Chevrolet Trailblazer offers more cargo space, with 54.4 cubic feet behind the rear seats, compared to the CX-30's 45.2 cubic feet. The Trailblazer also has slightly more front headroom and rear legroom than the CX-30, making it a better fit for taller drivers and passengers.

TECHNOLOGY

Both vehicles offer a range of advanced features, including infotainment systems with smartphone integration, driver assistance technologies, and available all-wheel drive.
